  Or just go into your local yarn store and ask somebody to show you how. Knitters are pretty nice. :)

  Well, first off, what hand do you hold your yarn in when you knit? Right (English/American knitting) or Left (continental knitting)? Either is fine, but how to purl depends upon what hand.

  I don't know if you live near Richmond, but my friend owns a shop there, her name is Stewart and the shop is the Yarn Lounge. She is one of the best knitters on the planet, and very kind with her time and talent of teaching. Tell her a little dog named Rojo sent you.
