Over trying to puzzle out a pattern.
As we all have found the NEW knitty for spring is up... But, I am not stuck on one of theirs.
It's actually the Dragon Scarf from Morehouse Merino. (that cute little ad, on the left side of the page)
I've figured out the body... it's a breeze... it's the scales that have me stumped... I'm hoping that I won't have to knit every one individually... and I refuse to pay 24bucks for a kit I don't want. Even if it does come with delicious Merino yarn..
Any ideas on how to knit the scales as a group?

Fri, March 9, 2007 - 8:40 PMInstead of making the peak like spines.... I'm going to make big fat bobbles down it;s back... I don't know about you, but as a grown woman... I would rather have it fit nicely on my neck and shoulders and not have to worry about eating yarn when I turn my head. -

Sat, March 10, 2007 - 2:21 AMLooking at the Morehouse site, it looks like they make a lot of their patterns available for individual sale - have you considered contacting them to see if you can buy this pattern alone isntead of as part of a kit?
