Have you started on your Christmas knitting yet?
So far, I've got these planned:
Sweater for 4-yo Nephew A (modified-Haiku)
Sweater for 2-yo Nephew B (modified-Haiku)
scarf for boss (undetermined pattern)
scarf for colleague (undetermined pattern)
small bag for colleague (probably Sophie)
socks for colleague/friend (working on the second)
and something undetermined for a friend.
Uhhh, yeah.

(Actually, yarn shopping was going to be today's after-work treat, but I kinda lingered over the shoe shopping and didn't get to the store in time. Tomorrow, though, watch out -- Dragon and her credit card are whipping up a storm!) -

Fri, August 31, 2007 - 9:18 PMYes, I strive to achieve SABLE (Stash Acquired Beyond Life Expectancy). It's a goal of mine, along with smooching George Clooney and marrying a billionaire (who may or may not be Mr. Clooney; it's negotiable). Probably more achievable, though.
Plenty of storage left -- I'm pretty good about not buying something without a project in mind. *ahem* So far, anyway ;) -

I did buy some sock yarn last week, with the INTENT of being Christmas gifts. I haven't picked out a pattern or...the recipient!
I did start a baby quilt for my nephew coming in October, so that's my defense. =D -

I've now bought all the yarn I'll need for my planned gifts. Which is not to say that there won't be some re-planning going on later! And, while my "in progress" box is awfully full, nearly all of that box is for the Christmas stuff, which will be happily knitted soon.
Yay, scarf knitting tonight :)
